Get a taste of NHL 15 with this new visual game play trailer

With the NHL 15 cover voting process complete (the winner will be announced at the NHL Awards Show) we’ll start getting more details about the game itself as summer rolls on.

Last month we got a taste of what some of the new additions would be to the 2015 edition of the video game, including the broadcast team of Doc Emrick and Eddie Olczyk with Ray Ferraro between the benches. Today, we get a very nice visual trailer of the game.

Though this clip doesn’t give us any idea of how the game actually plays (and how it’s changed from NHL 14), it does get us a little giddy for the next EA installment.

But game play – and glitch goals – is a huge deal: I lost a playoff series when an unobstructed and weak shot along the ice from the blueline got past my Vezina winning goalie. C’mon man. There were many threats about the TV flying through the window that night and I still haven’t gotten over it.

What are your takeaways/observations on this trailer?
