As all-time great defenseman Nick Lidstrom prepares to enter the Hockey Hall of Fame this coming Monday, you may find yourself looking through his past highlights. The same might go for Lidstrom’s one-time teammate Sergei Fedorov, who will also enter the Hall of Fame Monday.

Well, thanks to an outstanding compilation put together by Garden State Variety, you can now check out the final tallies from some of the NHL’s all-time greatest goal scorers. Lidstrom, who kicks off the tribute, is the only defenseman in the video, but you’re sure to recognize the names of some of the game’s greatest goal scorers:

It’s incredible that Fedorov’s last goal was his last in the NHL, because his final NHL marker was an absolute snipe. And in the post-season, no less.

There are some goals in here that are especially fitting. Dave Andreychuk, for instance, buried his final tally on the power play. Andreychuk finished his career with 274 of his 640 career goals coming with the extra man, the most of any player in league history. Then there’s Brett Hull, who is second all-time with 265 career power play goals, scoring with a booming one-timer while the Red Wings have the man advantage.

Then there are the goals by some of the game’s absolute legends, such as Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky. Lemieux’s goal, a deft tip in that comes from overpowering an opponent, is textbook Lemieux. And Gretzky’s goal, well, there’s something comforting about his last tally being the one that made him the all-time professional goal-scoring leader with 1,072 goals across his time in WHA and NHL regular and post-seasons.
