Blackhawks C Andrew Shaw leaves playoff game against Wild with unspecified injury

CHICAGO - Andrew Shaw has left the Chicago Blackhawks' playoff game against the Minnesota Wild with an unspecified injury.

It was unclear when exactly the injury occurred Friday night. Shaw left the Blackhawks' bench and missed the final eight minutes of the first period of Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals.

The Blackhawks announced at the start of the second that Shaw would not return.

Shaw had two goals and two assists in Chicago's first-round series against St. Louis.
