With OT win in Game 5, Metallurg Magnitogorsk one victory from KHL Gagarin Cup championship

Sergei Mozyakin supplied the offense, grabbing two more goals – including the overtime-winner – to stretch his record-breaking points haul to 103 points for the season and put Metallurg Magnitogorsk one game away from winning the Kontinental League Gagarin Cup for the first time.

Nine minutes into the first period of overtime of Game 5, Mozyakin's one-timer slid past Lev Prague’s Petri Vehanen to deliver the 2-1 win and trigger scenes of celebration in Magnitogorsk.

In every game so far, the team scoring first has gone on to win. Game 6 goes Monday in Prague.
