Blackhawks agree to 2-year deal with free agent F Carey

CHICAGO - The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to a two-year contract with free agent forward Matt Carey.

The 22-year-old Carey had 18 goals and 19 assists in 38 games this season as a freshman at St. Lawrence University.

The Blackhawks announced the move on Thursday.
