Coyotes assign forward Chris Brown to Portland of AHL

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Phoenix Coyotes assigned forward Chris Brown to Portland of the America Hockey League on Friday.

The 22-year-old Brown, from Flower Mound, Texas, has 17 penalty minutes in six games for the Coyotes this season. In 24 games for Portland, he was five goals, 13 assists and 38 penalty minutes.
