Brendan Gallagher was not expected to make the Montreal Canadiens in 2012-13. But not only did he crack the lineup, he was a spark for the Habs all season. It is just another example of the diminutive forward proving doubters wrong, something he has done throughout his hockey career.
 
THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with the Edmonton native at the 2013 NHLPA Rookie Showcase to discuss his memories from his rookie season, learning from the playoffs and more.
