Brad May was best known for his proficiency as a pugilist during his 18-season career. He accumulated 2,248 penalty minutes during his 1,041 NHL games, which puts him 36th on the all-time career penalty minute’s list.

Since retiring from the NHL, May has become analyst forRogers Sportsnet, keeping him close to the game he loves.

THN’s Adam Proteau caught up with him at the NHL Alumni Association’s 2013 charity golf tournament in Toronto to discuss his involvement with the association, surprises from the summer and more.
