Hockey Inspirations: "My older brother is why I started, he started before me. That's the reason I wanted to play. Growing up, I liked guys like Theo Fleury, Mario Lemieux. Then later it was Shea Weber, Dion Phaneuf."

Embarrassing Hockey Memory:
"My draft year. There were scouts in the stands for practice. I was using my new skates. I was trying to look good. We were doing a one-on-one drill and I heel-picked and just went flying into the air and fell on the ice."

Funny Hockey Memory: "Oh boy, I think just maybe a prank. I guess my first year of junior, one of our teammates put water and shaving cream in someone's gloves. Sock tape on the bottom of skate blades. Just pranks like that."
