Hurricanes agree to 1-year, 2-way deal with D Brett Bellemore

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed to a two-way contract with defenceman Brett Bellemore.

The one-year deal announced Friday will pay the 25-year-old Bellemore $600,000 at the NHL level or $150,000 in the minors with a minimum guarantee of $250,000.

Bellemore made his NHL debut in March and had two assists and seven penalty minutes in eight games.
