Derick Brassard’s debut with the New York Rangers could not have gone much better. The pivot had a goal, three assists and was dominant in the faceoff circle in a 6-1 win over the Eastern Conference leading Pittsburgh Penguins.
While Brassard hasn’t maintained the torrid pace he set in Game 1 with the Blueshirts, he is settling in nicely with the Rangers.
THN’s Ryan Kennedy sat down with the 25-year-old to discuss adjusting to his new team, fighting for the playoffs and more.
