Jets and Senators to play pre-season games in Saskatoon in September

WINNIPEG - Saskatoon will get two NHL pre-season games in September.

The Ottawa Senators will play the Calgary Flames Sept. 16 and the Winnipeg Jets will face the Boston Bruins Sept. 27.

The games will be played at Credit Union Centre.

Season ticket holders with the WHL's Saskatoon Blades get first crack at tickets, followed by Memorial Cup package holders.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public next Wednesday.

Credit Union Centre holds almost 8,000.

"The Winnipeg Jets look forward to visiting Saskatoon and playing an original six opponent in the Boston Bruins," said Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff.

"We hope to have lots of support from Jets fans throughout Saskatchewan and are excited to play in Saskatoon."
