Blues activate Alex Steen from injured reserve

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues have activated forward Alex Steen from injured reserve after a shoulder injury sidelined him for eight games.

Steen's other linemates, rookie Vladimir Tarasenko (concussion) and Andy McDonald (knee) remain out. The 29-year-old Steen had 16 points in 18 games with four goals and 12 assists.

To make room on the Blues, Andrew Murray was assigned to Peoria of the AHL.
