Boston Bruins sign forward Anthony Camara to entry-level NHL contract

BOSTON - The Boston Bruins signed forward Anthony Camara to an entry-level contract Thursday.

Camara has 36 goals and 24 assists in 48 games this season with Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League.

The six-foot, 190-pound Toronto native was selected in the third round, No. 81 overall, by Boston in the 2011 NHL entry draft.

Camara has appeared in 243 career OHL games with 66 goals and 56 assists. He also has three goals and five assists in 31 career playoff games and recorded two assists for Canada at the 2013 world junior hockey championship in Russia.

All things considered, how would you rate this NHL season?












“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”
