Mika Zibanejad got his first taste of NHL action last year when the Ottawa Senators gave the young Swede a nine-game tryout. Zibanejad returned to Sweden after his audition and continued his development with his hometown Djurgardens team.
THN’s Matt Larkin caught up with the 19-year-old center to discuss his return to Sweden last year, playing in the American League during the lockout and what he misses most about his native country.
