Predators send Lajunen to Blues in exchange for Ford, who gets assigned to Milwaukee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Predators have acquired defenceman Scott Ford from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for forward Jani Lajunen.

The Predators said Tuesday that Ford will report to their American Hockey League affiliate in Milwaukee.

The 33-year-old Ford has 15 goals, 41 assists and 650 penalty minutes in 423 career AHL games since 2004. Lajunen, 22, had one goal and four assists with Milwaukee this season.
