MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning have swapped minor-league goalies.
The Habs are getting Dustin Tokarski in exchange for Cedrick Desjardins.
Tokarski, 23, was 18-8-4 in 33 games with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch this season. He posted a 2.46 goals-against average and .900 save percentage over that span.
A native of Humboldt, Sask., Tokarski was selected 122nd overall in the 2008 NHL draft.
Desjardins, 27, has appeared in 22 games this season with the Hamilton Bulldogs, compiling a record of 7-13-2 with a 2.94 GAA and .905 save percentage.
The Edmundston, N.B., native has appeared in two NHL games, both with the Lightning in 2010-11.
