Chris Kelly set career highs in goals (20) and points (39) in the 2011-12 campaign. Kelly, who won a Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 2011, will have the continued responsibility of being a leader on and off the ice this season.
THN’s Tyson Geick spoke with the 32-year-old Bruins center to discuss establishing confidence early, managing team expectations, players’ preparation during the condensed schedule, and more.

“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”
