In the opening segment of the Feb. 8 edition of The Hockey News Radio Show, hosts Adam Proteau and Scott Laughlin discuss the reasoning behind the NHL's new faceoff/hand-on-the-puck penalties, the merits of increased performance-enhancing drug testing for NHL players and more. In the second block, the guys debate the notion of trading Montreal defenseman Andrei Markov, moving Jarome Iginla out of Calgary, and the idea of implementing further video review for major and double-minor penalties.

And in the final segment, Carolina Hurricanes center Jordan Staal calls in to talk about acclimating himself to a new team and city, "missing" the increased media presence in Pittsburgh, Canes coach Kirk Muller and Hockey Day In Canada in Peterborough, where he played two years for the OHL Petes.

Will the Blackhawks come back from a 2-1 series deficit to win the Stanley Cup?

“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”

- Chicago's Patrick Kane. The Blackhawks are 0-3 in Game 3s this playoff.
