Edmonton Oilers send winger Magnus Paajarvi to AHL; recall centre Anton Lander

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers assigned left-winger Magnus Paajarvi to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League on Thursday and recalled centre Anton Lander.

Paajarvi had no points and was a minus-3 in five games with the Oilers after being recalled from the Barons on Jan. 12th.

In 126 career NHL games with Edmonton, 21-year-old has 17 goals and 25 assists.

Lander, 20, has played in 39 games with the Barons this season, recording 10 points (three goals, seven assists).

Lander played in 56 games for the Oilers last season, registering two goals and four assists. He also had one goal and four assists in 14 games with Oklahoma City in 2011-12.
