When Brad Richards was an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2011, he chose to sign a nine-year, $58.5 million contract with the New York Rangers. And although Richards' production in his first year on Broadway wasn't spectacular, the organization took a big step forward, finishing first in the conference and advancing to the Eastern final.
THN’s Ken Campbell caught up with Richards following the Rangers' first win of this season to discuss how to manage expectations for a team many predicted to go all the way, the accountability that comes with playing for John Tortorella and more.
