With the potential of World Junior Championship glory coming down to a shoot out, you would think Malcolm Subban has a leg-up on his competition for the starting job with Team Canada. The Belleville Bulls’ netminder has been lights out in the head-to-head challenge over the past two seasons.

Subban is currently riding an eight-game shootout win streak and has only been beat twice in 24 attempts since the start of the 2010-11 campaign.

THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with Subban at the Subway Super Series in Guelph to discuss the possibility of starting for Canada at the World Junior Championship in Russia, the Belleville Bulls and more.
