Drafted 12th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2011, Ryan Murphy brings an offensive twist to the blueline. After a slow start to his 2012-13 campaign, Murphy has picked up his game and currently stands with 13 points in 18 games.

THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with Murphy after Team OHL’s loss to Team Russia Thursday night in the Subway Super Series in Guelph. The pair discuss the honor of being selected to play in the series, wearing the ‘C’ for the historic Kitchener Rangers and more.
