The Ontario Junior Hockey League has undergone major contraction in the past few years, which has made junior A hockey relevant again in the province. Players who do not want to forfeit their NCAA eligibility once again have a top tier league to further develop in before moving on to the collegiate circuit.
And one of the top programs in the OJHL is the St. Michael’s Buzzers. THN’s Ryan Kennedy takes a closer look at the unique Buzzers program and the choice by some young athletes to go the junior A route.
