VIDEO: 30 teams in 30 days - Nashville Predators

After winning their first playoff series in franchise history, the Predators lost big in free agency when they had to watch Ryan Suter sign on with the Minnesota Wild. But it could have been worse. The Flyers threw an offer sheet at Shea Weber that was designed so that Nashville would have a difficult time matching, but the Predators couldn’t let both of their big defenders walk away and kept their captain.

So while we’re left wondering if Nashville’s window has closed, we also have to question if any of their losses will impact a team that has become known for its penchant to play over its head.

Today’s continuing look at 30 teams in 30 days analyzes the Nashville Predators and explains why THN picked them to claim the final playoff spot in the West this season.
