VIDEO: 30 teams in 30 days - Dallas Stars

Zoom Image

The Dallas Stars missed the playoffs by six points last season and took an aggressive approach to their off-season dealings. Out went Mike Ribeiro, Sheldon Souray, Steve Ott and Adam Burish - and in came Derek Roy, Jaromir Jagr, Ray Whitney and Cody Eakin. The question is, are those moves enough to shoot the Stars back to the playoffs for the first time since 2007-08?

Today's Puck Panel continues our look at 30 teams in 30 days by analyzing the Dallas Stars, who THN ranked to finish ninth in the West this season.

“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”

- Chicago's Patrick Kane. The Blackhawks are 0-3 in Game 3s this playoff.
