Zoom Image

The Florida Panthers took down their first division title in franchise history last season, toppling the seemingly insurmountable Capitals to do so. But how many people saw that type of season coming from Florida?

Many players had career years and the arrival of plenty of new faces was a breath of fresh air to the team. Jason Garrison was the most noteworthy departure, but he, like the Panthers as a whole, didn't play as well down the stretch. So which Panthers team will show up this season? The one that started strong, or backed into the playoffs?

Today's continuing look at 30 teams in 30 days focuses on the Panthers and why THN pegged them to finish 10th in the East.
