Concussions have surfaced as one of the most daunting problems facing the world of hockey and Keith Primeau and Kerry Goulet weren’t willing to let the problem get worse without trying to make a difference. In May 2011 they launched the educational website stopconcussions.com to inform and educate athletes, trainers and parents, but their efforts didn’t stop there.
Primeau and Goulet co-authored the book Concussed, which includes important information on concussions and recovery, as well as many personal stories by those who are affected by the ramifications of post-concussion syndrome. THN’s Ken Campbell caught up with the authors at their book launch in Toronto.
