Twenty-nine NHL teams have made the post-season since the last lockout in 2004-05: the Toronto Maple Leafs are the one team left out.
Finishing at 35-37-10, Toronto landed the fifth overall selection in the NHL draft, but their sights were set much higher than that. GM Brian Burke is entering his fifth season as GM and, if his team fails to perform again, he could be on the firing line at the end of the season.
