Tyler Seguin signs with Biel of the Swiss League

The exodus of players to Europe continued on Day 5 of the lockout with Boston Bruins young star Tyler Seguin signing a deal with Biel of the Swiss League.

Seguin’s agent, Ian Pulver, confirmed that a deal with Biel is all but completed and that Seguin would join the team soon.

But when asked about Seguin’s reasons for joining the Swiss League team, Pulver was rather cryptic.

“I’m not going to get into the reasons,” Pulver said. “I can confirm he will play there and leave it at that.”

Seguin signed a six-year deal with the Bruins over the summer worth $34.5 million.
