Job security is something we all seek in our professional careers and in mid-August that is just what Wayne Simmonds got from the Philadelphia in the form of a six–year contract extension.
With a cap hit of just less than $4 million Simmonds will be expected to build on his impressive 2011-12 campaign and the 24–year-old seems eager to get started.
THN's Ryan Kennedy caught up with the Simmonds at the annual Biosteel camp in Aurora, Ont.
