Blues winger T.J. Oshie signs five-year deal worth US$4.175 million per season

ST. LOUIS - T.J. Oshie isn't going anywhere.

The 25-year-old St. Louis Blues winger avoided arbitration on Thursday by signing a new five-year contract with the club.

The contract has an average annual value of US$4.175 million per year.

Oshie, who become a restricted free agent this summer, scored 19 goals and 35 assists for 54 points to help the Blues finish second in the Western Conference last season. He put up three assists in a playoff run that lasted two rounds.

The Mt. Vernon, Wash., native has spent his entire career with the Blues since being drafted 24th overall in 2005. In 262 career games, he's scored 63 goals and 112 assists for 175 points.
