DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings have agreed to a four-year contract with Darren Helm.
The 25-year-old centre from Winnipeg has been with the Wings since they drafted him in the fifth round in 2005.
He had nine goals, 17 assists and 12 penalty minutes in 68 games last season.
