CHICAGO - The Chicago Blackhawks say the team has agreed to terms with forwards Brandon Bollig and Ben Smith on two-year contracts.

The 23-year-old Smith has six goals in 26 games over the past two seasons. A sixth-round pick in the 2008 draft, Smith had 15 goals and 16 assists in 38 games with Rockford this past season.

The Blackhawks also said Monday they have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with goaltender Carter Hutton and released goaltender Alexander Salak.

"We're playing the defending champs and you can tell they're not going to beat themselves. That team, just from them going all the way, you can see it over there. There's no panic…You can tell that's a machine over there and we've got to be at our best."
