Dean Lombardi has patiently built the Los Angeles Kings from the ground up since he took over as GM of the team in 2006.
Through shrewd drafting of players such as Drew Doughty, Dwight King and Trevor Lewis and aggressive trades for Mike Richards and Jeff Carter, Lombardi endured a lot of down years before reaching the summit of the hockey world.
Ken Campbell caught up with the Stanley Cup winning GM with the championship celebration going on around them.
