Flyers defencemen Kimmo Timonen, Andrej Meszaros out indefinitely with lower-body injuries

WASHINGTON - Philadelphia Flyers defencemen Kimmo Timonen and Andrej Meszaros are out indefinitely with lower-body injuries.

Sitting out Sunday night against the Washington Capitals ended Timonen's streak of consecutive games at 248, the Flyers' longest active run. He has two goals and 34 assists in 63 games this season.

Meszaros has seven goals and 18 assists in 62 games this season. He scored on a power play in Philadelphia's previous game, a 6-3 victory over the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
