The police report says Toews was not injured and no citations were issued. The team called the accident a "minor one" and in a text message to the Chicago Tribune, Toews said: "It's nothing serious at all. I'm good."

The team also said Toews was not injured in the accident. He was still expected to miss Thursday's home game against the Dallas Stars due to an undisclosed upper-body injury.' Coach Joel Quenneville said it hasn't been decided if he will travel with the team to Los Angeles for Saturday's game against the Kings.
