Oilers recall Taylor Chorney, Lennart Petrell and Teemu Hartikainen from AHL

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Taylor Chorney and forwards Lennart Petrell and Teemu Hartikainen from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League, the team announced Sunday.

Chorney, 24, has played 24 games with the Barons this season recording 11 points (3-8). He has also appeared in four NHL games with the Oilers and St. Louis Blues.

Petrell started the season in Edmonton and had three goals and three assists in 30 games before being assigned to Oklahoma City last month. In eight games with the Barons, 27-year-old has two goals and two assists.

Hartikainen has 19 points (9-10) in 28 games with the Barons. He has also played in three games with the Oilers this season. The 21-year-old has played in 15 career NHL games with Edmonton, collecting three goals and two assists.

The Oilers are coming off an embarrassing 6-2 home loss to the Calgary Flames on Saturday night and host San Jose on Monday.
