WINNIPEG - Manitoba drivers wanting to score a new look for their vehicles will soon be able to purchase special Winnipeg Jets licence plates.
Premier Greg Selinger says the plates will be available Dec. 12 and will cost $70.
It will be a way for hockey fans to support their NHL team as $30 of the fee will go to the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation.
Drivers will be able to visit any of the province's more than 300 Autopac agents to place their orders.
Football fans aren't being left out.
Specialty plates for the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers were made available earlier this year.
