Joe Nieuwendyk won three Stanley Cups, scored 564 goals and captured the Conn Smythe Trophy during his illustrious career, but the Whitby, Ont., native is adamant that the highlight of his career was playing for his childhood team, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
THN’s Adam Proteau caught up with the former Leaf at the Hockey Hall of Fame to discuss his time in Toronto and being inducted into the Hall.
