Struggling Ducks recall Nick Bonino, option suspended Jean-Francois Jacques

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The struggling Anaheim Ducks have recalled centre Nick Bonino from their AHL affiliate in Syracuse.

The Ducks also optioned left wing Jean-Francois Jacques back to Syracuse on Monday.

Bonino has 11 points in nine games with Syracuse this season. He has played in 35 games with the Ducks in previous seasons.

Jacques has been sent up and down from Syracuse for the past two weeks while the Ducks burn off his five-game NHL suspension for a pre-season fight.

Anaheim has lost five of six after a 4-1-0 start. After losing 3-1 at NHL-worst Columbus on Sunday night, Anaheim visits Washington on Tuesday for the fifth stop on a seven-game road trip.
