First Hockey Memory:
"Probably is watching Rochester Americans when I was really young. My dad used to take me to the games and me and my brother were watching them play (age five). I remember enjoying going to games and watching them play."

Hockey Inspirations: "I'd say my biggest hockey inspiration would probably be Brian Gionta. Our families are pretty close, I played with his younger brother (Steve) growing up. Just looking up to him and seeing everything he's done really inspires me."

Favorite Movie: "Wedding Crashers, Slapshot."

Musical Tastes: "Country, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn."

Nicknames: "Cal, Cally, Cal-Dog."

Hobbies/Leisure Activities: "Away from the rink I like playing a lot of golf."

First Car: "Honda Civic (red)."

First Job: "Pointing cars where to park. A valet service at a restaurant called The Pavilion in Rochester."

Favorite Meal: "Is probably spaghetti and meatballs."

"Vanilla."

Greatest Sports Moment:
"Probably scoring my first NHL goal."

Most Painful Moment: "When I was younger, actually got cut from travel team, that was pretty painful (age 14)."

Favorite Uniforms: "I like the Rangers actually - really traditional and have a lot of history in them."

Funny Hockey Memory: "Actually when I was younger I fell asleep on the ice one time during practice when I was really little. Parents have that on video so that's pretty funny."

Closest Hockey Friends: "Dan Girardi."

Funniest Players Encountered: "Sean Avery's quite the character. (What is it about him?) I don't know, he always has something to say and he's always making a joke here and there. And he's always fun to be around."

"Madison Square Garden."

"Someone who shows a lot of character and really takes pride in their work ethic and how they work on the ice and off the ice."
