First Hockey Memory: "I think it was the brother's practices because I went to a lot of them. So older brother (Anton). That's how I started to watch hockey, because of watching brother practice."

Hockey Inspirations: "Money (smiles). No. It's a fun game, you know, just fun to be every day in the room with the boys. Just go and tape your stick, go shoot. It's a fun game. So that's probably the biggest inspiration."

Last Book Read: "It's Russian book, kind of like Lord of the Rings, called Andelor."

Nicknames: "Grach, Eugene, E, what else...Grachy."

Hobbies/Leisure Activities: "Like to hang out with the boys, read books, sometimes movies, video games. I don't have like a big hobby, I'm not a golfer at all."

"Chicken alfredo."

Pre-Game Feeling: "Don't think a lot about the game. Just relax, get ready right before warmup, get in the game mindset. But other than that, have a nap, have a pre-game meal and nothing special."

"Is this. My first job is hockey."

Favorite TV Show: "Family Guy."

Greatest Sports Moment: "It hasn't happened yet."

Most Painful Moment: "World juniors against Canada in the semifinal, we lost 6-5 in the shootout."

Most Memorable Goal:
"The same world juniors I scored three against Czech Republic."

Closest Hockey Friends: "The Russian guys - (Artem) Anisimov, (Enver) Lisin."

Funniest Players Encountered: "Dale Weise. He just chirps, he has a lot of jokes and he likes to talk a lot."

Toughest Competitors Encountered: "Jordan Owens."

Funny Hockey Memory:
"I think two years ago my coach got poured with a beer on his head in Windsor. That was pretty funny."

Last Vacation:
"I went to Turkey."

Favorite Uniforms: "Detroit has a nice one. I liked Atlanta's jersey too."

Favorite Arena: "I think it's Madison Square Garden, from what I've seen. It's not the best, but the nicest to play."

Strangest Game:
"Every game is not like the game before or game after. Once we had the lights off for half an hour. We stopped playing. I was like 12 or 13. Right in the middle of the play, the lights go out."

Favorite Sport Outside Hockey:
"I'd say men's tennis."

People Qualities Most Admired: "I like people to be themselves and be independent. And just have their own opinion. Be honest."
