Premier Clark gets two free tickets to see Canucks at Stanley Cup final

VICTORIA - B.C. Premier Christy Clark has scored two free tickets to Wednesday night's Stanley Cup final.

Officials in the premier's office say she was given the tickets by Canucks Sports and Entertainment, the Vancouver-based company that runs the Vancouver Canucks hockey team.

Clark has been an unabashed supporter of the Canucks during their playoff drive, which now comes down to a winner-take-all final game with the Canucks facing the Boston Bruins.

She plans to attend the game with her son, Hamish.

Clark's officials say her acceptance of the free tickets by the Canucks owners was given the OK by the province's conflict of interest commissioner.

Last week, Prime Minister Stephen Harper flew to Boston on board a government jet with his daughter and Heritage Minister James Moore to watch Game 4 of the finals with tickets he'd bought with his own money.
