Miikka Salomaki has been a mainstay for the Finnish national team since donning the blue and white for the under-16 junior team in 2008-09. But it wasn’t until his impressive performance at the World Junior Championship in Buffalo this year that he started garnering attention as a legitimate NHL prospect.
