The Chicago Blackhawks find themselves down 2-0 to Vancouver Canucks in the first round of this year’s Stanley Cup playoffs and if they hope to get back in the series they will need their freshman goaltender to shine the rest of the way.
Corey Crawford has been a rock for the Blackhawks since being anointed the team’s No. 1 goalie in January and he credits the experience he gained in the American League for his success this season.
THN’s Ken Campbell caught up with the 26-year-old netminder to reflect on his rookie season and his long road to the NHL.
