Last season Jimmy Howard got his first taste of NHL playoff hockey. After beating the Phoenix Coyotes in seven games, Howard’s post-season run came to an abrupt end as the San Jose Sharks dispatched Detroit in five.
But with a second full season under his belt, the Syracuse, N.Y., native is looking to lead the Red Wings back to Stanley Cup glory.
THN’s Ken Campbell caught up with the 27-year-old netminder as he prepared for his second adventure into the playoffs.
