At this year’s NHL all-star weekend in Raleigh, N.C., Michael Grabner showed the league what fans in Long Island have seen all year when he won the fastest skater competition: world class speed.
After a chaotic start to the year that saw him traded from Vancouver to Florida in the summer and claimed off waivers by the Islanders to start the season, the Austrian has demonstrated he can produce against the best players in the world.
THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with the Islanders freshman to talk about his roller coaster season.
