Hockey Inspirations: “It's always been my two older brothers. They inspired me all the time.”

First Hockey Memory: “Was when I was six, I won my first tournament with my junior team in MoDo. I think it was unbeaten for like four or five years, too. So the first memory was winning that tournament."

Nickname:
“Vic, Heddy, Heds.”

Favorite Movies: “The Hangover.”

Favorite Uniforms: “Ours. For sure.”

Last Book Read: “Good question. Probably back in high school. It was an autobiography by a Swedish comic that I read about.”

Favorite Meal: “Tacos.”

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: “Strawberry.”

First Job:
“Never had one.”

Current Car:
“Cadillac Escalade and Lexus LX 160.”

Favorite Arena To Play:
“St. Pete Times Forum. I think the fans are great here. It gets loud when there's a lot of people."

Greatest Sports Moment: “Getting drafted by Tampa Bay Lightning (second overall in 2009).”

Most Painful Moment: “Always losing games is painful. But the most painful moment...as of right now...probably when I missed the playoffs my last year back home in Sweden (2009). We lost the last two games, but we had to win those two. We lost. That was my last game with my Swedish team. For a long while – hopefully, too. So that was very painful. I remember breaking my stick. Threw it across the ice when we lost the game. The crowd started booing me. That was a painful moment."

Most Memorable Goal: “My first NHL goal against the New York Islanders. December 4. Assisted by Vinny (Lecavalier) and Alex Tanguay. (Slapper?) Two-on-one and I shot it right away. Wrist shot.”

Embarrassing Career Memory: “When you do a big mistake. Like when you do a pass right up your own slot area and they score. That's very embarrassing."

Favorite Players To Watch: “Martin St-Louis. Steven Stamkos. Crosby. Nick Lidstrom. Zetterberg. Ovechkin. A lot of guys. Myself (laughs)."

Funny Memory: “Own goals."

Closest Hockey Friends: “Right now it's Mattias Ohlund and Mattias Ritola.”

Funniest Players Encountered: "Ryan Malone. He's always funny, always has a smile on his face and he's always joking with the guys. He's a lot of fun."

Toughest Competitors Encountered:
"Pittsburgh Penguins."

Strangest Game: "When we played Philly this year and we won 8-7. The score was 7-7 after two periods. Then we scored the last goal in the third period. That's one of the weirdest games I played."

People Qualities Most Admired: “Honesty. Kindness. I like funny people, too. A combination of those three will do it."
