Zoom Image

This week on The Hockey News Radio Show with Adam Proteau and Jim 'Boomer' Gordon on XM Satellite Radio Home Ice Channel 204:

Boomer and Adam are back for another episode of THN Radio; in the first segment of this week's show, THN Editor-in-Chief Jason Kay joins the guys to discuss THN's latest cover story titled "Is Hockey Dying In Canada?", as well as Dany Heatley's return to Ottawa and the passing of journalist Jim Kelley.

In the second segment, Atlanta Thrashers defenseman Tobias Enstrom calls in to discuss the Thrashers' solid start to the season, his evolution as an NHLer, and the difficulties of changing from a forward to a blueliner (as his defensive partner Dustin Byfuglien did this year).

In the final block, the Ask Adam mailbag delves into listener questions on the effects fighting has on enforcers' off-ice lives, the job security of Calgary GM Darryl Sutter, and potential NHL expansion to Europe.

All things considered, how would you rate this NHL season?

“I think when you’re at home the first two games, sometimes you get a little bit too comfortable at home. Then you come on the road, maybe it’s like a rude awakening…We’ve had three series to figure that out, learn it. We definitely want to be better (Monday), especially in the first game on the road.”

- Chicago's Patrick Kane. The Blackhawks are 0-3 in Game 3s this playoff.
